Op 14 mei 2007 ontving prof.dr. M. Oudkerk tijdens het 3^rd International Symposium on Prevention of Cardiovascular Diseases in Krakau uit handen van professor Mieczyslaw Pasowicz de Pro Bono Curantium Gold Medal for Merit, ‘for outstanding world contributors to the development of medical science which brings hope in the fight against pain and distress through prevention and innovative medicine’.

 

Eerdere ontvangers van de medaille waren Valentin Fuster (VS), C. Michael Gibson (VS), Roland Hetzer (Duitsland), Rainer Rienmueller (Oostenrijk), Morteza Naghavi (VS) en Michal Tendera (Polen).
