ACRIN: American College of Radiology Imaging Network
I am delighted that you are interested in the activities of the American College of Radiology Imaging Network, a National Cancer Institute-funded cooperative group. ACRIN's overarching goal is - through clinical trials of diagnostic imaging and image-guided therapeutic technologies to generate information that will lengthen and improve the quality of the lives of cancer patients. By perusing our Web site, you can learn:
• how ACRIN is organized and operates;
• ACRIN's objectives;
• how you can participate in ACRIN;
• and what trials are in development or activated.
Or, feel free to visit our Frequently Asked Questions page for complete information and links within this site.
Unlike other cooperative groups, ACRIN has no continuing membership. Everyone is welcome to participate in ACRIN trials, so long as they meet the qualifying criteria for participation. We also encourage collaboration with other cooperative groups, industry and payors. We believe that this openness and flexibility will lead to more rapid development, implementation, and completion of high quality clinical trials that will help us achieve our goals.
Again, welcome. I look forward to working with you.
