EURORAD
Submit cases to EURORAD the Imaging Database of the EAR
Dear colleagues
We strongly encourage you to submit case reports to EURORAD, the Imaging
Database of the EAR.(http://eurorad.org ) This database is unique and
consists of case reports anonymously peer reviewed by the best academic
European radiologists.
1. We would ask you to start submission by sending didactic and elementary
cases, intended for students in medicine (i.e: brain metastasis, bone
fracture, pulmonary tuberculosis). Emphasis should be put on basic images
and semiology. Cases can also be intended for residents in radiology.
Finally very rare cases (such as those usually reported in journals) are
also welcome.
2. The cases are mainly clinical reports, but you can also provide
anatomical cases or research cases (a new contrast media, a new MR sequence).
3. Submission is very easy if you follow the instructions provided on the
database (We encourage you to print first the 'Instructions to authors'
which are located in the 'Submission' part of the database). Submitting the
first case may take 30 minutes; but the learning process is very fast. It
will take an average of 15 minutes, once you have prepared the text and
images.
4. For every accepted case the Institutions or the individual radiologists
submitting cases will be refunded with 10 to 40 Euros.
5. The title and authors of accepted cases will be published in European
Radiology
6. The authors of the best cases will be rewarded during each ECR Congress,
starting ECR 2000.
